ITIL® v3 / 2011 Training Courses
The diagram below shows the ITIL version 3 and 2011 qualification scheme. Click on a module for a description.
This half-day, or one-day, course provides an overview
of Service Management and introduces the five core
volumes which comprise ITIL. The course
is aimed at all levels and functions within the total IT
service development and provision lifecycle. It is
also of value to customers and end users who need to
interface with the IT department.
This three-day course provides IT Managers and
Practitioners with a practical understanding of the key
concepts, principles, processes and functions that
enable successful IT Service Management provision.
It also prepares delegates for the ITIL Foundation
Certificate Examination, which is a pre-requisite for
the other ITIL-based certificates in IT Service
Management.
This three-day course builds on the principles covered
in the ITIL Foundation course. It covers the
lifecycle aspects of Service Strategy and covers the
management and control activities and techniques within
the Service Strategy stage of the lifecycle.
The course prepares delegates for the ITIL Lifecycle
examination in Service Strategy.
This three-day course builds on the principles covered
in the ITIL Foundation course. It covers the
lifecycle aspects of Service Design and covers the
management and control activities and techniques within
the Service Design stage of the lifecycle.
The course prepares delegates for the ITIL Lifecycle
examination in Service Design.
This three-day course builds on the principles covered
in the ITIL Foundation course. It covers the
lifecycle aspects of Service Transition and covers the
management and control activities and techniques within
the Service Transition stage of the lifecycle.
The course prepares delegates for the ITIL Lifecycle
examination in Service Transition.
This three-day course builds on the principles covered
in the ITIL Foundation course. It covers the
lifecycle aspects of Service Operation and covers the
management and control activities and techniques within
the Service Operation stage of the lifecycle.
The course prepares delegates for the ITIL Lifecycle
examination in Service Operation.
This three-day course builds on the principles covered
in the ITIL Foundation course. It covers the
lifecycle aspects of Continual Service Improvement
and covers the management and control activities and
techniques within the CSI stage of the lifecycle.
The course prepares delegates for the ITIL Lifecycle
examination in Continual Service Improvement.
This five-day course builds on the principles covered in
the ITIL Foundation course. It enables the
organisation to introduce Capacity Management,
Availability Management, ITSCM, Information Security
Management, Demand Management and Risk Management
processes as an integral part of its overall
business-focussed Services Framework.
The course prepares delegates for the ITIL Capability
examination in PPO.
This five-day course builds on the principles covered in
the ITIL Foundation course. It enables the
organisation to introduce Service Portfolio Management,
Service Catalogue Management, Financial Management and
Business Relationship Management processes as an
integral part of its overall business-focussed Services
Framework.
The course prepares delegates for the ITIL Capability
examination in SOA.
This five-day course builds on the principles covered in
the ITIL Foundation course. It enables the
organisation to introduce Change Management, Release and
Deployment Management, Service Validation and Testing,
Service Asset and Configuration Management, Request
Fulfilment, Service Evaluation and Knowledge Management
processes as an integral part of its overall
business-focussed Services Framework.
The course prepares delegates for the ITIL Capability
examination in RCV.
This five-day course builds on the principles covered in
the ITIL Foundation course. It enables the
organisation to introduce Event Management, Incident
Management, Request Fulfilment, Problem Management and
Access Management processes, the Service Desk, Technical
Management, IT Operations Management and Application
Management functions as an integral part of its overall
business-focussed Services Framework.
The course prepares delegates for the ITIL Capability
examination in OSA.
This five-day course brings together the full essence of
the lifecycle approach to service management and
consolidates the knowledge gained across the
qualification scheme.
The Managing Across the Lifecycle course is compulsory
for those wishing to gain the ITIL Expert qualification.

ITIL® Expert - Fast Track
After June 30th 2011, current holders of v1 or v2 Service Managers Certification can take a fast track to achieivig ITIL Expert by completing the following certifications:
AND
Service Strategy OR Continual Service Improvement
AND
Managing Across the Lifecycle (MALC)
This Bridging route will only be available to holders of
the full ITIL V1 or V2 Service Managers Certification
(both Service support and Service Delivery components).
Individuals who choose to follow this route to ITIL
Expert Level should note that the credit system does not
apply to this particular bridging option. We offer a full range of ISO/IEC 20000 (also known as
ISO20000).

This half-day, or one-day training course, provides
delegates with an overview of ISO/IEC 20000 (also known
as ISO20000), the international standard for IT Service
Management that has now replaced BSI15000.
This three-day training course provides delegates with a
good understanding of Quality Management within the
context of ISO/IEC 20000, the international standard for
IT Service Management more commonly known as ISO20000.
This accredited course also prepares delegates for the
industry recognised EXIN ISO/IEC20000 Foundation
Certificate or the APMG-International ISO/IEC20000
Foundation Certificate.
Delegates are recommended to have as a pre-requisite the
Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management (ITIL®)
or equivalent knowledge.
This two-day training course is aimed as practicing IT
auditors who wish to conduct either internal ISO20000
audits or external certification audits for accredited
Registered Certification Bodies (RCBs). This
training provides delegates with an understanding of
ISO/IEC 20000, the international standard for IT Service
Management and the associated Certification process.
The accredited course also prepares delegates for the
industry recognised itSMF ISO20000 Auditor Certificate.
Delegates should have as a pre-requisite at least 3
years general IT auditing experience. Attendees with an
ITIL® Service Management qualification will be at an
advantage although this is not a pre-requisite.
This three-day course provides delegates with a
comprehensive understanding of ISO/IEC 20000, the
international standard for IT Service Management and the
associated Certification process. The accredited
course also prepares delegates for the industry
recognised APMG ISO/IEC 20000 Practitioner Certificate.
Delegates must have as a pre-requisite at least five
years of relevant IT experience and must have attained,
at minimum, the Foundation Certificate in IT Service
Management (ITIL®). COBIT® (Control Objectives for Information and
Related Technologies) is regarded as the world’s leading
IT control and governance framework. This two-day course equips participants with the
knowledge to enable them to use COBIT for evaluating the
effectiveness of IT related controls and how the
framework can assist them in implementing IT Governance
and support IT Assurance. The course includes ISACA's COBIT Foundation
examination leading to the COBIT Foundation Certificate
attained by passing a 1 hour, 40 question, multiple
choice examination.
