CEC Announces the Sale of its Service Management Business to HP

CEC Europe is delighted to announce, to its many prestigious clients, that its Service Management business has been acquired by IT giant Hewlett-Packard.

CEC Europe's Service Management business has grown to be recognised as one of Europe’s leading ITSM consulting and training companies – and it adds considerable additional strength to HP’s already significant ITSM capabilities.

HP announced on 13th May, 2004, that it had acquired CEC Europe Service Management Limited.  The acquisition by HP further extends HP Services’ capability to deliver on its Adaptive Enterprise strategy to customers.

CEC Europe Service Management Limited will operate as part of the customer support unit of HP Services.

CEC Awarded Place on Royal Mail's  ‘Key Skills’ IS/IT Consulting Panel

We are pleased to announce that CEC Europe has been awarded a place on Royal Mail Group’s ‘Key Skills’ IS/IT Consulting panel.

Following a rigorous two-stage selection procedure under EU public procurement rules, we have been awarded one of the 14 places against the following lots:

  • Programme & Project Management

  • Strategy Development

  • Requirements Specification / Data Modelling

  • Business & Systems Analysis

Stephen Rapicano, Managing Director of CEC Europe, said that the award was recognition of the strong management team, consulting skills, and value for money that CEC provides. In particular he stressed the value CEC places on the long-term relationships they have with their clients and the importance the company attaches to a business led approach which recognises that every client and every assignment is different: we don’t do “one size fits all” consulting, said Stephen.
